Our story

Welcome to Technology Guide for Teaching and Learning. This course aims to develop your digital literacy and improve information and communication technology competence. You will be exposed to various ICT concepts which are necessary for you to be equipped and competent as a teacher. Highlighted topics are problem-based learning, project-based learning, global citizenship education, digital environment, digital technologies and integrative learning.

Furthermore, you will gain better competence in information and data literacy, communication and collaboration, digital content creation, safety and security, problem-solving, and analyzing and reflecting.

Module A. Information and Data Literacy for Problem-Based Learning focus was on advanced search strategies; evaluating information reliability; validity and credebility assessment; and effective file management and classification.

Module B. Communication and Collaboration for Project-Based Learning presents content creation management; utilizing online services; and advanced communication features.

Module C. Digital Content Creation for Promoting Global Citizenship Education prepares teachers to be versatile content creators; learn effective webpage and blog creation; editing and enhancing existing content; advanced formatting and automation; and copyright awareness and ethical reuse.

Module D. Safety and Security for Digital Environments include cybersecurity awareness; privacy protection; safe online behavior; and data backup and recovery.

Module E. Problem Solving for Digital Technologies focuses on technical troubleshooting and support; tool selection and ecision-making; and staying current with technological developments.

Module F. Analyzing and Reflecting for Integrative Learning dwell on evaluating digital information dissemination; reflecting on media use opportunities and risks; and business analysis in digital environments.

The six (6) modules are simply presented by following the presentation of the introduction; key concepts; content; guiding ICT strategies and resources; key takeaways; and assessment.
